INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP FOR COMPOSERS AND CONDUCTORS
22-24 April 2025, Poznań, Poland
The Foundation for Contemporary Music in Poznań and the International Contemporary Music Festival "Poznań Musical Spring" invite you to workshops
for conductors and composers.
The workshops are dedicated to young composers and conductors.
Composers will have the opportunity to perform their new piece under the supervision of professors,
take advantage of individual lessons and consultations with the ensemble.
Conductors will have the opportunity to gain skills in conducting contemporary music from the recognized repertoire, as well as premiere new pieces.The project consists of practical workshops and rehearsals with the Sepia Ensemble, individual lessons with professors and participation in rehearsals of the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by maestro Yaroslav Shemet.
The project
will be a fringe event accompanying the 54th International Festival of Contemporary Music "Poznań Musical Spring", which will take place this year on April 25-30, 2025.Participants are welcome to attend the Festival rehearsals and concerts during
and after the workshop project.
